The Puzzling Sports Institute is based out of the beautiful Kootenays
in British Columbia, Canada.
A collective of sports playing and watching junkies, The All-Star Hockey Activity Book
and the The All New All-Star Hockey Activity Book were the first releases in the early 1990s.
The Amazing All-Star Hockey Activity Book came out in 1998, and
completed the series of three.
The book received a Canadian Children's Book Centre "Our Choice"
selection.
In 2001, the group turned to a broader topic with
O Canada Puzzles for Kids, focusing on a wide range of Canadian puzzles. The title became a bestseller and led
to O Canada Puzzles for Kids Book 2, in 2003.
In 2006, a contract was signed with Raincoast Books to
make four new sports puzzle books in the revisited All-Star
series, leading to the succesful Soccer, Hockey, Baseball and Basketball titles.
Slapshot Hockey Quizbook is the biggest book yet, weighing in at 80 puzzling pages.
In the fall of 2010, the Vancouver Canucks Quizbook was released, featuring 80 pages of Canucks action to compliment the club's 40th season. More titles to come!!
